The german compagny produced a nice putty to create this kind of effect. I tried it for the base of this fantastico-celtico warrior, sculpted by Remy Trembley and produced by the Montrouge painting club.
Firts you have to applie a kind of varnish with a brush, and let it dry.
After, you applie with a brush (you’ll be able to clean it with water after)
You can trie different layer of puty to have bigger or smoller strokes.
You just have to paint and use a brilliant varnish.
